The Finest Selection of Jaguar, SS Cars and Swallow Automobilia ever offered
at a Public Auction!
HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL RE-LAUNCH OF JAC POSTAL AUCTION
Our Autumn 2008 Postal Auction closed on 24 November having attracted hundreds of bids from across the world.
High prices were recorded for key lots such as the SS Car Club Founder badge (£2250) and the original and
highly atmospheric Roy Nockolds oil of a Mark VIII or Mark IX saloon running along a moonlit country lane (£2200).
Such was the huge range of Jaguar and SS Cars automobilia on offer that bids were equally wide-ranging in both
value and the sort of items that caught the interest of the bidders.

A NEW BOOK ABOUT MIKE HAWTHORN
And have you seen the new book about 1958 World Motor Racing Champion, Mike Hawthorn, by Tony Bailey and Paul Skilleter? As I said to Tony: "You and Paul have stolen two days of my life! I sat down yesterday morning to skim through the book over a cup of coffee. Apart from sandwich breaks and sleep, I found myself reading on and on until early this evening. I honestly cannot remember the last time a book has hooked me in this way.
"You have created a truly outstanding book that has set new standards for those who follow. Yours is the first book that has ever set out to examine the whole man and his wider life and existence in such depth, not just skim lightly across aspects beyond the racing career."
"Definitely front runner for motoring book of the year! - Ian Cooling"
